Actor Erich Bergen, Page Six reports, attended the recent Gateway Cancer event where he was invited on stage to talk about his testicular cancer journey. He was diagnosed with the disease when he was only 27 years old and how difficult it was to deal with everything at that age.He said: “It’s not lost on me that here I am at 40, a survivor of this disease, portraying someone who lost his battle with the same disease at the same age.” He referred to his latest project, ‘Love Story’, where he will play Anthony Radziwill, the cousin and best friend of John F. Kennedy Jr., who also had testicular cancer.It was only a week ago that he opened up about his diagnosis on social media while announcing his casting as Anthony in ‘Love Story’. Her message read: “I’m so grateful to be here today to tell my story and a little bit about Anthony.”Radziwill survived testicular cancer, but died of another type of cancer 10 years after his diagnosis.
