SSC JE, CHSL Tier-II 2026: Exam City, Admit Card Dates Expired JE Paper-I Answer Key Released.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released several important updates for candidates appearing for the Junior Engineer (JE) and Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) examinations 2025-26. Along with announcing the exam city notification and admit card release schedule for JE Paper-II and CHSL Tier-II, the commission has also released the final answer keys and marks for JE Paper-I. These updates are for the candidates preparing for the next stage as well as those who appeared in the first stage. JE Paper-II exam will be conducted on 7th April 2026 and CHSL Tier-II on 10th April 2026. Candidates are advised to download all the relevant documents within the stipulated time to avoid last minute problems.

SSC JE, CHSL Exam City Slip and Admit Card Schedule

SSC has also released the detailed schedule of Exam City Slips and Admit Cards for JE Paper-II and CHSL Tier-II. The JE Paper-II exam will be held on 7 April 2026, with the city slip going live on 27 March and the admit card on 4 April 2026.Candidates can check their allotted exam city and download their admit certificate by logging into the official SSC portal. SSC JE Paper-I Final Answer Key And signs were issued.

SSC has uploaded the final answer keys along with question papers and answer sheets for Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical and Electrical) Exam 2025 (Paper-I). The results of this phase were earlier declared on 6th March 2026. Candidates can now access their response sheets and scorecards by logging into the official website using their roll number and password.This facility is available from 23 March 2026 (6:00 PM) to 6 April 2026 (6:00 PM). Both eligible and non-eligible candidates can check their marks during this period. The Commission has clearly stated that the candidates should download the printout of their final answer keys and score cards, as these will not be available after the last date and no later application will be entertained.Check here the official notification released by SSC for JE Final Key.

Instructions for candidates and update of writer’s facility

The Commission has also issued important instructions regarding the facility of ‘own writer’. Candidates opting for this facility have to complete fresh Scriber registration, as registrations made before 5th November 2025 are cancelled. The new registration process is now linked to Aadhaar verification, making it mandatory for clerks to re-register on the SSC website.Candidates should map their writer registration number within the given last dates — 3 April 2026 (11 PM) for JE Paper-II and 5 April 2026 (11 PM) for CHSL Tier-II. Scribe Entry Pass will be generated only after successful mapping. The SSC has also clarified that the permissible age limit for clerks will follow the updated policy, while other guidelines remain unchanged.
