As far as humor is concerned, he revealed that Akshay Kumar is his top choice for working with him, both out of preference and convenience. He said: “I think of my script first. Then I decide who is right. Whenever I think of comedy, my first priority is Akshay. More than anything, it’s my comfort level working with him.”Priyadarshan also reflected on the making of ‘Bhool Bhulaiya’, which was released in 2007, stating that the film was originally meant to be a psychological thriller rather than a horror comedy. He shared, “No, we didn’t think of horror comedy when we made ‘Bhool Bhulaiya’. We just thought of a film that is a psychological thriller, but if you watch any of my films, there will be a lot of humor.”The filmmaker added: “Since the day I started my career, I’ve been working on it. I like situational humor. So I’ve also tried to put in a bit of horror humor, because when you go to see a horror movie, people will be a bit tense. So they’re looking for a chance to laugh. That’s how we decided to come to the horror genre.”He noted that the upcoming film also has multiple sequences that are “very tense,” but also has many comedic scenes. He concluded, “So this is a nice combination. People like both.”
