BPSC TRE 4.0 Recruitment 2026: Bihar Public Service Commission has issued a short notification for the recruitment of teachers in schools through TRE 4.0, which includes more than 44,000 vacancies. The minimum age for primary and middle school teacher posts is 18 years, and for higher classes, the minimum age qualification is 21 years.The maximum age qualification for unreserved male candidates is 37 years, and for unreserved female candidates, the age qualification is 40 years. For candidates belonging to BC and ABC communities, the age qualification is 40 years, and for SC and ST candidates, the age qualification is 42 years. Relaxation of age eligibility is based on norms and guidelines prevailing in the field.Vacancy Details and Eligibility ConditionsThe posts to be filled by the candidates include Primary Teachers for Class 1 to 5, Middle School Teachers for Class 6 to 8, Secondary Teachers for Class 9 to 10 and Senior Secondary Teachers for Class 11 to 12.Eligibility criteria may vary for each post. Generally, for primary teaching posts, the eligibility criteria include a Bachelor’s degree with B.Ed., a Diploma in Elementary Education, and CTET/BTET Paper I qualification. For middle school teaching posts, the eligibility criteria includes graduation with D.El.Ed and B.Ed qualification. For class 9 to 10, the eligibility criteria includes graduate degree and post graduate degree in relevant subject with qualification of B.Ed and STET Paper I. For senior secondary teaching posts, the eligibility criteria includes B.Ed and STET paper II qualification along with post graduate qualification.
