On March 21, Ram Gopal Varma made a bold statement while praising him Ranveer Singh ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ actor. He stated that the film will reshape the standards of filmmaking in the industry. He wrote, “#Dhurandhar2 is not a movie… It is a RESET BUTTON CINEMA INDIA…it will be foolish of all the filmmakers not to forget all the films that were made before 19th March 2026, and after 19th March 2026, everyone should watch all the films to be made with #Dhurandhar2, otherwise they will DIE IN THEIR FIRE.”

The film also shows how Jaskirat Singh Rangi Hamza becomes an Indian spy in Pakistan. So far, the film has collected more than 270 crores at the Indian box office. The film opened in theaters on March 19, 2026.
