Peter Pascal and Bella Ramsey’s post-apocalyptic series “The Last of Us Season 3” features some new additions to its cast members. Michelle Mao and Kyriana Kratter join as series regulars next season.
Michelle Mao and Kyriana Kratter have joined the cast
According to Variety , Michelle Mao (Bridgerton) and Kyriana Kratter (Star Wars: Skeleton Crew) will play Yara and Lev, key members of the Seraphites, a faction that plays a crucial role in the story going forward.Their characters are closely intertwined with Abby Anderson’s journey, with Kaitlyn Dever stepping into the role of Abby in what will be the central narrative of the show’s third and likely final season.
Kyriana Kratter was cast for the role
Lev’s casting followed an extensive and inclusive search, and the studio’s initial auditions were held for young actors from diverse backgrounds. In the end, the role went to Kratter, who is only 15 years old, making him one of the youngest actors to join the series. Kratter’s previous work includes starring alongside Jude Law and Ryan Kiera Armstrong in ‘Star Wars: Skeleton Crew’, as well as a recurring role on Disney Channel’s ‘Bunk’d’.Meanwhile, Michelle Mao has just started acting as Rosamund, Sophie’s manipulative sister in ‘Bridgerton’ Season 4, and is also directing Kogonada’s ‘Zi’, which premiered at Sundance earlier this year.

As of now, there is no release date for “The Last of Us Season 3.” Deadline reported that the season is slated for 2027. Previous seasons had long production cycles. Season 2, which ended with a cliffhanger, was filmed in 2024 and aired in 2025.Season 3 will see the return of several familiar faces, including Bella Ramsey, Isabela Merced, Gabriel Luna and Jeffrey Wright, along with Dever.
