He has given up alcohol, focused on better sleep, improved his diet and committed to regular work at the gym. “I want to improve every year,” he added. “I may not promise specific results but I will give everything I have on and off the field.”This phase also represents mental recovery for the walk. “It’s about being better than yesterday,” he said. “Helping young people, supporting teammates and giving your best. That’s what’s important.” For Punjab Kings, last season was a promise that fell short. Chahal echoed that sentiment. “We played great cricket but fell short in the last minute,” he said. “This year, we are more confident. The core group is intact, the atmosphere is positive and everyone is coming in with good form.“The team has already started preparations with a 12-day camp in the coming days, aimed at improving tactics and adapting to unpredictable home conditions.Despite being regarded as a lead spinner, Chahal was quick to emphasize collective power over individual characters. “There is no ‘man’ spinner.
