According to the first estimates by Sacnilk website, ‘Aadu 3’ collected Rs 6.00 crore nett on Day 1. This takes its gross collections to around 6.96 crores.
Among the top openers in Kerala
With day 1 figures Aadu 3 has entered the list of top opening days in Kerala. It is alongside blockbusters like Mohanlal’s ‘L2: Empuraan’, Yash starrer ‘KGF Chapter 2’ and Mammootty’s ‘Bheeshma Parvam’. Other films on the list include Beast, Turbo and The Goat Life (Aadujeevitham).
Aadu 3 brings a new narrative twist
In ‘Aadu 3’ the story takes a different turn with time travel and multiple timelines. The film adopts a non-linear structure with Jayasurya reprising the iconic role of Shaji Pappan while portraying the local king, Padmanabha Thamburan. Actors like Vinayakan and Sunny Wayne and others appear in different roles in the timelines.
Mixed opinions
Although the film has opened well, the critical response remains mixed.
