Fans of the popular Panchayat franchise finally have a reason to celebrate. Season 5 has been officially announced by the makers at the Prime Video 2026 launch event held in Mumbai.The upcoming season will follow the journey of Abhishek and Phulera’s neighbors. According to the makers, the new chapter will see Abhishek face a tough work environment under a new and vengeful leadership. Although he plans to pursue his dream of getting an MBA, he will first have to resolve the unresolved issues in the village.

Panchayat, produced and directed by The Viral Fever Deepak Kumar Mishrahas built a loyal following over the years for its rooted stories and relatable characters.
