‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ has hit theaters across the country yesterday after a day of multiple previews of canceled and rescheduled shows. The promotional event included a special screening in Mumbai before the official launch.

‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ faced technical glitches on its opening day
‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ has been facing numerous delays and issues in its initial sessions and on its opening day, leaving moviegoers in various cities fuming. Film, protagonist Ranveer Singhpaid previews began on March 18, but many shows were suddenly postponed or canceled. As of publication date (March 19), technical and other issues are still causing changes to show schedules.
Aditya Dhar ‘Dhurandhar’ message to listeners Xn
Amid the ongoing confusion surrounding the shows, director Aditya Dhar released an official message to the audience on Xn. He wrote, “To our dear Dhurandhar family, Dhurandhar is not just a film for us, it is something we have dreamed of living, nurturing and sharing with each and every one of you, together, at the same time, in every language. Most of our Hindi shows across India are scheduled from 5:00 p.m. All our Tamil and Telugu shows will start from 9:00 PM onwards. However, due to unforeseen technical difficulties, our Malayalam and Kannada shows will start from tomorrow morning,” he wrote.“If the dubbed version that you have tickets for is not playing in your cinema, you will be able to switch back or watch the Hindi version with subtitles. Really sorry for the inconvenience. Your love for this film means the world to us, and we can’t wait to share it with you. Team Jio Studios and B62 Studios,” concluded the director.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ hit the theaters on March 19 after paid previews that started on March 18. The film stars Ranveer Singh in the lead alongside R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Rakesh Bedi, Gaurav Gera, Danish Pandor and Sara Arjun.
