Zendaya opens up about the fast pace of ‘Euphoria’ Season 3 as the series heads toward its long-awaited return in April. Speaking at the premiere of her new film “The Drama,” the actor said the shoot felt unusually compressed and moved so quickly it seemed to go by in a blur. He also said that he has seen some images of the new season and is hopeful about the final result.

In comments reported by Variety , Zendaya described the production as intense from start to finish. “Hey, it was a whirlwind. What I did in eight months in four months,” he said. He added: “It was like trying to cram in eight episodes at once. It flew right past me.”
The two-time Emmy winner, who plays Rue, also shared an early look at the new season. “I’ve seen it a little bit,” he said. “I’m excited. I hope it goes well.” His update comes more than four years after the end of Season 2 and as anticipation for the show continues to grow.
‘Euphoria’ Season 3 Release Date & Cast
The third season premieres on April 12 on HBO. Returning actors include Jacob Elordi, Alexa Demie, Sydney Sweeney, Hunter Schafer, Colman Domingo, Eric Dane and Maude Apatow. The new episodes will also introduce new faces including Trisha Paytas, Natasha Lyonne, Eli Roth and Sam Trammell.Creator Sam Levinson shared details of the story during a presentation on HBO Max in December 2025. He said that Rue will be “south of the border in Mexico,” in debt to Laurie, trying to come up with very innovative ways to pay it off. He also revealed that Cassie and Nate are getting married, while Cassie is “very addicted to social media and envious of what seems to be the great lives all her high school friends are living right now.”“The new season puts Jules in art school, Maddy in a Hollywood talent agency, and Lexi working as an assistant to a showrunner. This is the show’s first season since Angus Cloud’s death in 2023. Production began in February 2025, in preparation for the series’ April return.
