Arjun Tendulkar is gearing up for a new chapter in his IPL career after moving to Lucknow Supergiants ahead of the 2026 season. After playing just five matches in five seasons with Mumbai IndiansThe left-arm fast bowler was bought by LSG for ₹30 lakh before the mini-auction in Abu Dhabi last December.In a video shared by LSG, where Pant and Arjun are talking, Pant discusses Arjun’s batting style. Curious about his preference for a heavy bat, Pant asked, “Tera katna hai bhai (what is the weight of your bat)?”“1220,” replied Arjuna. Pant pursued, “Bhari se kya fada hai (what is the point of using a heavy bat)?”Arjun explained, “It’s a touch. Dad plays at 1310-1315. I don’t go below 1200 (only one touch. My father used to play with bats weighing 1310-1315. I don’t go below 1200).”The reference was of course to his father. Sachin Tendulkarwho famously used a heavy bat during his career.Pant was equally impressed with Arjun’s work ethic, especially after learning that he had trained with him.
