Jimmy Fallon’s hair disaster during his college days

Jimmy told it on ‘The Tonight Show,’ and it’s the kind of college disaster most of us can relate to. He was chatting with Tom Brady, who admitted that he too had some questionable hair moments growing up. When Jimmy pulled up an old photo of Brady rocking a legendary bowl cut, the floodgates opened. “My mom used to come home crying when I got my hair cut,” Brady admitted. Then Jimmy jumped in with his hair horror story. “Once, I got a perm,” she said. “This is a true story. I was in college, and you know, when you’re in college, you don’t have money, and you get everything for free,” he explained. He explained how he was tagging friends who were getting their hair cut when he was stopped by a student stylist. “My friends were getting haircuts, and I was walking by. This girl says, ‘Your hair is so straight. Have you ever thought about getting a body wave?’ Jimmy revealed.Jimmy had no clue what that meant: “I’m like ‘I don’t know what that is, but it is!’ “Jimmy remembered that the girl had promised to do it for free because she needed practice. “He’s like, ‘I’m actually in school right now. I can give them to you for free,'” the late-night host recalled. “I’m like, ‘Let’s do a body wave, man. Are you kidding me? Let’s go for it.’ “Next thing she knew, she was sitting under a heat lamp with her hair in rollers. Fallon admitted she didn’t really know what a “body wave” was when her hairstylist friend at the time suggested it. He thought he would end it with a ‘little wave’. Instead, she got the tightest perm ever!“She pulled out the rollers, and I had the tightest perm I’ve ever seen in my life,” Fallon recalled.Of course, Tom Brady wanted to see the pictures.Jimmy groaned, “They’re out there somewhere.”However, here comes the real conclusion: “I remember going home, and my mother started crying.” All Jimmy could say was, “But it was free!” Not exactly what her mother wanted to hear.
