Several complaints were filed, and women’s commissions in the states of Haryana and Karnataka raised concerns; even the National Human Rights Commission issued a notice on the normal visuals and lyrics of the Kannada film song. And now, singer Mangli has addressed the controversy, revealing that a new and corrected version will be released soon.

Singer Mangli took to his social media to apologize and express his regret for the song ‘Sarke Chunar Teri Sarke’. He shared, “Out of respect for people’s sentiments, the song has been removed from all platforms. I sincerely apologize to each and every one of you for the unintentional mistake. It was never meant to hurt anyone’s feelings, and we truly regret the oversight.”
Singer Mangli has announced that a new version directed by him will be released soon
In a post on social media, he added: “The corrected version of the lyrics has now been updated, and the revised version of the song will be released this evening. We assure that such a situation will not arise again.”Mangli thanked the film’s makers and composer for their support. He turned off the comments section of his post.
Nora Fatehi addressed the ‘Sarke Chunar’ debate
Nora Fatehi, who can be seen grooving to the tunes of the song along with Sanjay Dutt, has shared a video to address the controversy. He stated, “On a side note, I see some of you are trying to use this as an opportunity to attack my character…it’s unfortunate. However, me and my team will be more careful in future situations like this. However, I want to reiterate that I had no idea about this Hindi song. I did not perform it and did not take permission to use my image.“He added that he recorded Kannada three years ago. He said, “I recorded this song three years ago in a language called Kannada. I said yes because it was part of a big film. It was with a big icon, Sanjay Dutt, who would say no to working with him?”Nora added: “Nothing felt inappropriate or vulgar when they played the song back to me. I don’t understand Kannada, so I was relying on what they told me.”
