The Sun reports that a major car accident has occurred in East Dulwich, South East London. A car speeding by hit some pedestrians before plowing into the side of Richard Ayoade’s vehicle, who was driving nearby. As of now, no one from the actor’s team has shared an update on his health. However, according to the report, he was seen getting out of his car holding his neck.The report added that due to the accident, two women, also caught in the car, had to be taken to the nearby hospital for treatment. The two women involved in the accident suffered major injuries and are currently being treated at a nearby hospital.A statement from the report said: “The Renault came speeding down the road and hit a woman, ending up on the other side of the roundabout. The Renault then hit Richard Ayoade’s car.” According to the report, a witness in the area stated that many people believed that someone had died due to the severity of the accident.Their statement read: “Everyone froze at the sound of the twisted metal. Obviously, it was a bad accident. Then one of the pedestrians who got hit was heard screaming. It was a complete shock. Many people ran out into the street. As a result, it was obvious that the Renault was traveling at a high speed. I was afraid that someone might be killed.”The comedian was seen leaving the area with many of his belongings in hand when authorities arrived on the scene. He was also seen talking to the authorities about what happened.So far, the Metropolitan Police Service has confirmed that they are looking into the matter.
