Rolling Stones manager Ronnie Wood has been ordered to repaint his front door. The famous singer, who bought the mansion for GBP 7 million ago, kept his front door bright pink; however, according to recent reports, the authorities have ordered it to be repainted black.

The Daily Mail reports that Ronnie Wood has been given an official notice to change the color of the front door of his home from pink to black. The report’s note quoted “The council doesn’t like you painting your door a different color. They like it black.”Another part of the report revealed that the shade of pink that Wood has had on his door is considered inappropriate or out of place for the neighborhood where he lives.The request came after someone took a picture of her door and complained, which led to the local council issuing a notice to repaint it. Egurs also asked for approval in this matter; however, he was told to paint it a neutral color. They also said that his neighbor has painted the main door bright orange, and the people living in the area have also chosen to paint it in different colors to keep the space alive.

In a statement released by the publication, one of the nearby residents said, “I’m 97 years old, but I’m still arguing with the council. One neighbor had an amazing pink door, and a lady downstairs had a blue one because she liked our blue.” Angela Allen, who has won a BAFTA for her work as a film tracking supervisor, revealed that she painted the door blue nearly half a decade ago. However, he is now being ordered to repaint or face a £30k fine.A council spokesman said in a statement on the matter, “These properties are part of a distinctive group of listed buildings within a conservation area, and we have informed residents that any changes affecting their historic character require consent”.
