While speaking with Fox News Digital, Wilson talked about his biggest project to date, ‘The Office’. While talking about the spinoff series ‘The Paper’, which is currently in the second season of production, the actor shared that if his series was made in the present day and age, people would not react positively.He added during the interview, “I’m sorry you couldn’t make it to The Office today. I think it would be too harsh to be as politically correct as the show. I think there has been a trend in the media, in favor of what we call more liberal politics.’He also said that sometimes he misses that era of his life. He added: “We milked him for a lot of great and inappropriate things, but even if you paint that character as nothing more than an idiot, I don’t think you can get away with it today.”
