Now, while fans keep clamoring for ‘Munjya 2’, the director says that he is currently busy with his next film, ‘Shakti Shalini’.
Sarpotdar has spoken on ‘Munjya 2’
In an interview with Variety India, the director was asked the one thing everyone wants to know: when is ‘Munjya 2’ coming? Sarpotdar did not flinch at the question. “I get a lot of messages about it and it’s good to know people want to see it. But that’s the point. I can’t disappoint them with something mediocre. I’d rather not do it than deliver something substandard,” he said.He also added, “I’m OK with maybe 10 years later asking, ‘Why didn’t you make it?’ But until I feel that my script matches a level or quality and is something completely new and beyond people’s expectations, I won’t make it”.
