The ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ movies don’t seem to be stopping. After the leaks of the teaser trailer, Marvel fans once again found themselves in a tizzy after a new clip allegedly leaked online. While it’s not the official trailer that premiered at CinemaCon last month, this new clip that’s surfaced online offers what many believe is a remarkable first look at the superhero film.The leak comes days after the alleged trailer of ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ started circulating on social media platforms. This clip, albeit very pixelated, debuted over the weekend and has since gone viral on social media platforms and fan handles.
Doctor Doom takes Avengers , X-Men and The Fantastic Four
The multiple watermarked footage has raised questions about its authenticity, with many entertainment outlets and other social media users debating whether the clip is real or AI-generated. If true, the footage would give fans their first look at Robert Downey Jr’s Doctor Doom against the combined forces of the X-Men, Avengers and Fantastic Four.
Thor and Steve teased the team
According to descriptions circulating online, the clip sees Doctor Doom amassing an army of Sentinels – giant mutant-hunting robots – from the X-Men franchise. The footage shows Chris Hemsworth’s Thor and Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers teaming up to lead the team into battle. Interestingly, this is in line with previous reports that the two characters will play a major role in the upcoming films.
The ‘Avengers’ scene has been recreated in a leaked clip
The clip also features prominent X-Men characters including Cyclops, Nightcrawler, Gambit and Mystique on the battlefield, ready to take on the giants. The clip features James Marsden’s Cyclops unleashing an optic blast.Another scene in the trailer that has gone viral shows a sort of recreation of the iconic scene from 2010’s ‘The Avengers’, this time with the camera moving in a circular motion as the heroes line up and take their place on the battlefield. This time, Steve is also seen holding Mjolnir while Thor holds Stormbreaker.
‘Avengers: Doomsday’ clip fake or real?
If the images are real, it would be the first time the Avengers, X-Men and Fantastic Four characters have been shown together in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.As the leak continues to spread online, Marvel Studios’ decision not to release the video suggests the clip may be an AI-generated fake. However, entertainment scholar Daniel Richtman has reportedly described the leaked material as “100% real”, including an image featuring Wolverine, Spider-Man and Deadpool.‘Avengers: Doomsday’ is still months away from release. The film will be released in theaters on December 18, where it will clash with ‘Dune: Part Three’.
