According to a report by IANS Maharashtra The Cyber Police has been entrusted with the investigation. The cyber unit will closely scrutinize Pranit More’s show videos, viral clips and all other content he has posted on various social media platforms, leaving no stone unturned in the probe.

The controversy surrounding Pranit More started after a video of his stand-up shows started circulating on social media. In the clip, a man named Himanshu Jangra made a joke suggesting that spending Rs 370 on biryani on a date gave him the right to physical intimacy. Another clip from the same show featured MBBS student Sejal Pawar, who spoke about anatomy sessions with cadavers and said students joked and teased about the private parts of some male cadavers. Pranit More was seen laughing at these two remarks, which did not go down well with people online and sparked a massive backlash against him.In the video, Pranit said, “Jinko bhi iss wajah se hurt hua hai, un sabse main maafi maangna chahta hoon. Jo bhi pure legal procedure ho rahi hain against, uske liye main authority ke saath co-operate bhi kar raha hoon. Main yehi request karna chahta hoon kiss to please dikhat bankuane ekiti, mujhe ekane banku option I am cooperating with the legal proceedings initiated by anyone who has been harmed by this. I want to ask you to give me a chance, and I will be a better person.”
