While discussing having her daughter with her on the ‘Lifetimes’ tour, Perry thanked her daughter for being a strong role model.She said: “I think when mums can be their most protective and authentic selves, that’s always a good role model for children to model. And I’m happy to model a strong, stable, smart, funny, and weird woman for my beautiful daughter.” She added that watching her daughter perform and doing her work on tour has been a great experience as a mother.When it comes to being an inspiration to her daughter, Perry is all about being her truest self. As she talked about how parents can guide their children, “I think if I’m living my most authentic, free, supported, empowered, smart, sexiest life, and it’s going to be a model to follow, a role model to follow.” As for what she wants her daughter to be, Katy Perry mentioned that parents only want their children to be better versions of themselves.
