Salman Khan‘Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya’ star Kunickaa Sadanand, who appeared alongside Pranit on ‘Bigg Boss 19’, took to the comments section of his apology video to offer his support. He wrote, “Everyone makes mistakes but not everyone has the guts to own it. @rj_pranit you are a good guy with the right values but like I always said smoking or crowd work takes you away especially as an entertainer when you see ppl reacting and laughing. I hope people forgive me, and I also hope they change their attitude towards women/girls.”He further added, “You were not the cause of a generational mindset, you were one of many who inherited this mindset from generations of objectification. The controversy erupted when a clip from Pranit More’s show went viral in which 23-year-old Himanshu Jangra recounted a date where he paid Rs 370 for a plate of chicken biryani and said he deserved a “return” on his investment. “Maine kaha 370 rupay lage hain, main wasool toh karunga (I spent Rs 370, so I have to give something back),” Jangra said on the show.The man, who lives in Gurgaon, described how he debated taking the woman to his room and eventually insisted she go to a “dark” park despite her repeated reluctance. Pranit More laughed off the statements and gave Jangra a platform to continue, which spread outrage on social media. Himanshu later apologized for his comments.
