Posting a photo of him, she wrote: “The last time I spoke to my brother was on August 23, 2024, a few days before he was taken (September 6, 2024) where he was held in secret detention until the end of May 2025. He was then transferred to a detention center in the Middle East, where he has now been held, and has been held without formal control and access for almost 18 months.“Reflecting on her decision not to stay in touch, she added: “I can’t speculate on what he might advise or say to my brother in custody. He’s very protective of me and has no visibility of what’s going on in the outside world. Given my current circumstances, he may have received partial information and is trying to protect me from more financial and emotional situations. In context. I think sometimes he’s refused to talk to other relatives and said he doesn’t want to talk to her or anyone else.”Underscoring her concern, Celina clarified that her legal efforts were never about personal interests, but about her brother’s well-being. “The only issue that has really worried me throughout all of this has been his physical and mental well-being. I am by his side until my dying breath!”During the March 16 hearing, the court was informed that Vikrant chose not to communicate with his sister and preferred to take legal decisions only after consulting his wife.
