Day 1 collection at ‘Main Vaapas Aaunga’ box office
Director Imtiaz Ali’s team promoted the film extensively on various platforms. On the opening day, the Diljit starrer was screened on 2,302 screens in the country. However, according to the Sacnilk report, the film has managed to earn 1.15 crores on Day 1 at the box office. With this, the total net collection in India stands at 1.15 crores, while the gross collection in India stands at 1.38 crores.According to the same report, the overall occupancy of the film on Day 1 was 12.22%.
Fierce competition at the box office
‘Main Vaapas Aaunga’ clashed with ‘Bharata Bhhagya Viddhaata’ at the box office. From the collection report, the Imtiaz Ali directed film is ahead of the Kangana Ranaut starrer by a narrow margin. Earned Rs 1 crore on day 1.On the other hand, the Diljit Dosanjh film also locked horns with Manoj Bajpayee’s ‘Governor’. He is also sharing screens with ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ and ‘He-Man and the Masters of the Universe’.
