As the film received positive initial reviews, Sharvari took to social media to share a warm and heartfelt note. Posting pictures with Vedang and Punjab director Imtiaz Ali, she spoke about the film’s deep resonance with her and revealed that she fell in love with the story the first time she read the script.

What is ‘Main Vaapas Aaunga’ about?
The film revolves around an old man, played by Naseeruddin Shah, who has spent his entire life unable to forget the woman he lost during the Partition of India in 1947. As she lies on her deathbed with a last wish to be reunited with her lost love, it is her grandson, played by Diljit Dosanjh, who takes over the pieces of this unfinished love story. The younger versions of these two souls are embodied by Sharvari and Vedang Raina, respectively.
