SECL Apprentice Recruitment 2026: South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL), a subsidiary of Coal India Limited, has issued a recruitment notification for the posts of Apprentice. The company, classified as a Mini Ratna Enterprise, is inviting applications for a total of 1700 vacancies under its apprenticeship programme.The recruitment drive includes opportunities for Graduate Apprentices, Technician Apprentices and New Apprentices. The process will be done online, and there is no application fee prescribed for candidates applying under any category.Distribution of Vacancies in Apprentice CategoriesAs per the official notification with SECL/BSP/HRD/NATS/Apprentice 26-27/1393 and SECL/BSP/HRD/NATS/Apprentice 26-27/1394, the total number of vacancies is 1700. Of these, 500 are Airmark posts for apprentices. 1100 posts are reserved as Technician Apprentice.Additionally, 100 posts have been allotted as fresher apprentice posts, including Office Assistant, General Duty Assistant, Assistant Mine Surveyor, Security Guard etc.Eligibility criteria and qualifications required.Candidates applying for Graduate Apprentice posts should have degrees in Mining, BBA, BCA, BCom, BSc etc. On the other hand candidates applying for Technician Apprentice posts should have Diploma in Engineering fields including Mining, Mine Servicing, Electrical, Civil, Mechanical etc.Candidates applying for new apprentice should have passed 10th or 11th standard. Candidates applying should have minimum age of 18 years as on 31st March 2026.Application Process and Important DatesThe entire application process is being done online, and interested candidates need to submit the form before the last date. The last date for submission of online applications is fixed as 31 March 2026.After the completion of the application process, the provisional electoral roll is to be announced in the month of April 2026.
