According to People, Teigen announced her father’s death on Instagram and reflected on how quickly her day had changed. “Yesterday I woke up with a daddy and went to bed without one,” she wrote.Teigen said the day started like any other. She described taking a quick shower, picking up stuffed animals from dog toys, answering emails, spending time with friends, and getting dressed for a birthday party. Then came the news.

“And then like my father … f—ing died,” she wrote in the post.The 40-year-old said he often thought about losing his father because he had always been an “old dad”. However, the moment struck hard. “I’ve been thinking about this phone call for years. I’ll be ready,” he wrote as he reflected on the grief he felt after her death.

Teigen also shared a video of Ron joking about salmon at a dinner table.
