Mohanlal starrer “Drishyam 3” continued its run with steady numbers despite a slight dip in its 21st day collections. The suspense thriller has continued to be one of the strongest Malayalam blockbusters of the year.According to Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 37 lakhs in India in 21 days. The collection came from 705 shows in various territories. Compared to the net collection of 40 lakhs on day 20, the latest figure shows a drop of 7.5%.
The net collection in India crosses 107 crores
“Drishyam 3” has taken its net collection in India to 107.70 crores. The film’s gross collection in India has now reached 124.94 crores.The film had an exceptional first week collecting 81.95 million euros. It continued its strong momentum in the second week and added another 20.68 crores.
Foreign markets drive worldwide success
On day 21, ‘Drishyam 3’ added Rs 5 lakh from international territories. This took the film’s overseas gross collection to an impressive 111.65 crores. The worldwide gross collection now stands at 236.59 crores.
Occupation levels
The Malayalam version registered an overall occupancy of 8.30% on Day 21. The morning shows had an occupancy of 5.80%. Evening shows improved slightly, up to 6.90%. Evening occupancy stood at 7.10% and night shows closed at 8.00%.The Malayalam version contributed Rs 36 lakh from its daily collection of 694 shows. The Telugu version added Rs 1 lakh from 11 shows and registered 14% occupancy.Kerala was the film’s strongest market on day 21. 40 lakhs was contributed by the State. Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh-Telangana each added Rs 1 lakh gross. The total gross collection for the day was 43 lakhs.“Drishyam 3” follows Georgekutty as he faces his toughest challenge yet.
