More about Trevor Dietz
Famous manager Fontaines was a familiar face to DC fans and a beloved honorary member of the Irish team. In 2016, he discovered Fontaines DC while booking artists at the Workman’s Club in Dublin. The group signed him the same year and later released their first album titled ‘Dogrel’. The band was signed to the same label that manages bands like Arctic Monkeys and Royal Blood to name a few.In an old MIX Course appearance in 2019, Dietz explained what it was like to meet the band for the first time. He said: “I wouldn’t have worked with the team if I hadn’t had high hopes and big dreams. If other people had heard the conversation that day, they would have said, ‘Jesus, these guys are nuts, it’s not going to happen’, but I knew we could go beyond Ireland with this. So first of all, you need a team that is reliable and trustworthy in your vision.“Dietz had been in the group since he signed up 10 years ago, and he remained close friends with all the members.
