In a long and candid note shared on X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram, Aditya Dhar reflected on his journey from the release of the first film on December 5, 2025 to the birth of this monumental sequel.Dhar began the statement by saying, “To my dearest Dhurandhar family, On 5th December 2025, Dhurandhar released in theaters worldwide. And since then, you’ve only seen our film. you loved You lived it. You appreciate every quiet detail, discuss every moment, re-watch it and notice things no one else had thought about.”The note further read: “Somewhere along that beautiful and unexpected journey, our film became yours. Then the nation. And then the world! That is the most humbling and touching gift a filmmaker can receive.”Aditya Dhar revealed that they poured their hearts out when they decided to make the sequel. His statement added, “So when we sat down to make Dhurandhar: The Revenge, we knew one thing for sure: It had to surprise you. It had to make you feel emotions you weren’t prepared for. Deeply. Honestly. That’s never easy.
