The veteran actor, who played the role of Appalasuri in the film, stated that Janhvi should not be held accountable for creative decisions which were ultimately the director’s call.Jagapathi Babu spoke to Telugu360 Digital, “As an artiste, the only thing I would say is please don’t hit the actor. It’s unfair to go after that girl. We don’t know what his personal opinions were or whether he agreed with every creative decision.”The 64-year-old actor made it clear that actors often surrender creative control when they put their trust in a director’s vision. He said, “It’s not like he pushed himself. He did what the director asked. When an actor signs up and trusts a director’s vision, they follow that vision. We do what the director tells us. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn’t. He (Buchi Babu) may have his reasons. I support Janhvi on this issue.”He further added, “If you like the movie or don’t like it, comment on the movie. But don’t single out an artist, troll or cause mental anguish.”
