Now, Jackamn, who has played titular roles in some of the biggest franchises, is set to take on the role of another iconic character, Variety reports. The actor has been confirmed to play the role of pirate Long John Silver.The project will be directed by Ridley Scott, who has worked on films such as ‘Blade Runner’, ‘Prometheus’ and ‘Kingdom of Heaven’, and the script is being prepared by writer Jack Thorne, who is behind the screenplay of the award-winning show ‘Adolscence’.
