Varun Dhawan reveals that his Alibaug proposal plan went completely awry
In a recent episode of the comedian Tanmay Bhatt‘s YouTube show, Varun Dhawan talked about how he proposed to Natasha during a trip to Alibaug and things didn’t go as planned. He planned to play Marc Anthony’s “You Sang To Me”, go swimming with Natasha and then propose as he left the pool. But the plan didn’t turn out the way he expected. He said, “We were in Alibaug. I played the song You Sang To Me by singer Marc Anthony. I thought we were going to go swimming, and I was going to pop the question when we got out of the pool. I walked until then. By the time I got the ring, it was out of the pool. I messed it up two or three times, jaisa filmon mein perfect proposal dikhaate hain vaisa sach mein hota nahi hai.”

The actor also shared that things got even more out of place when Natasha kept moving, unaware that he was trying to propose. He had to ask his friends to keep him in one place. He continued: “I then told my friends to keep him in one place and not let him walk. He would have a drink once, then eat a salad. Actually, he knew I was proposing, it was a bad proposal. I had to play the song three times in a row!”.

Even though the film has not got the best of reviews, receiving mixed and negative reviews, Varun has high hopes for ‘Bhediya 2’ which will hit the theaters in August this year.
