Jayaram and Urvashi’s ‘Parimala and Co.’ collections soared in the opening weekend. The film had an overall occupancy of 33.28 percent for its Tamil version.Evening shows were the strongest segment of the day, with occupancy reaching 43.54 percent. Evening performances also registered healthy numbers at 38.62 percent. The morning and evening shows were relatively lower.‘Parimala and Co.’ It revolves around a family dealing with unexpected situations and complicated relationships. Jayaram and Urvashi lead the cast and bring familiar on-screen energy to the family entertainer.
‘Blast’ also continues to gain momentum at the box office
Meanwhile, Arjun Sarja’s Blast also saw a noticeable uptick over the weekend.According to Sacnilk, ‘Blast’ collected around 4.35 crores at the Indian net on its 11th day. This marked a 24.3 percent increase in its 10th day collection of Rs 3.50 crore.“Blast” has reached around 35.74 crores in net earnings in India.
