PEOPLE reported in April that the couple were expecting their first child together. Plaza spoke publicly about her pregnancy for the first time on the ‘SmartLess’ podcast while chatting with hosts Jason Bateman, Will Arnett and Sean Hayes. “Well, there’s a baby inside of me,” the ‘Parks and Recreation’ star said, adding of motherhood, “I’ve always wanted, always wanted, always wanted to see what it’s all about, you know? It sounds so interesting, all of it.“Abbott addressed the news for the first time while being interviewed alongside his “Death of a Salesman” co-star Nathan Lane. Asked if she could say congratulations, Abbott smiled and replied “You can”, before joking when the pregnancy was revealed, “I thought you meant for my name Tony”. He then admitted that he has had a lot to celebrate lately, adding: “It’s too much. It’s very nice. Thank you very much, it’s very exciting.”
