The couple kept their hair and accessories minimal for the photo shoot. Abbott accessorized with a velvet jacket, white shirt, black tie and black trousers.

PEOPLE reported in April that the couple were expecting their first child together. Plaza spoke publicly about her pregnancy for the first time on the ‘SmartLess’ podcast while chatting with hosts Jason Bateman, Will Arnett and Sean Hayes. “Well, there’s a baby inside of me,” the ‘Parks and Recreation’ star said, adding of motherhood, “I’ve always wanted, always wanted, always wanted to see what it’s all about, you know? It sounds so interesting, all of it.Abbott addressed the news for the first time while being interviewed alongside his “Death of a Salesman” co-star Nathan Lane. Asked if she could say congratulations, Abbott smiled and replied “You can”, before joking when the pregnancy was revealed, “I thought you meant for my name Tony”. He then admitted that he has had a lot to celebrate lately, adding: “It’s too much. It’s very nice. Thank you very much, it’s very exciting.”

Abbott was nominated at this year’s event for Best Performance by an Actor in a Play for his role as Biff Loman in the revival of Arthur Miller’s ‘Death of a Salesman’. The production earned a total of nine Tony Award nominations. The pair stepped out together on the show’s opening night in April, one of their first public appearances since the pregnancy news broke.
