The film relives a little-known chapter of the night of November 26, 2008, when terrorists entered the hospital after attacking key locations in Mumbai, including the CST railway station and the Taj Hotel.Anjali Kulthe’s 26/11 story inspires ‘Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata’India Today reports that Kulthe Cama was on duty at the hospital when reports came that the terrorists who attacked CST were on their way to the hospital. What started as a routine shift soon turned into a battle to protect the patients inside the building.According to the report, Kulth heard the gunshots and later saw the terrorists enter the hospital premises after shooting the security personnel. As panic spread, he acted quickly. He gathered 20 pregnant women from the neighborhood and took them to a small pantry.The lights went out, the cellphones went silent and the women stood silent in the dark as the attack continued outside. Kulthe did not abandon his patients. Kulthe later said the baby was named “Goli” as a reminder of the terrifying night surrounding his birth.“Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata” features Kangana Ranaut as Kulthe and focuses on the bravery shown by common Indians during the 26/11 attacks. The film also comes at a time when controversy has returned to the attacks following the extradition of accused Tahawwur Rana on 26/11.The attacks killed 166 people and left a deep mark on the country. ‘Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata’ will release on June 12.
