He was asked about the enduring popularity of “Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa” and how the film worked across generations.Suchitra credited director Kundan Shah for the film’s charm and emotional appeal. He said, “I don’t know if I can call it magic, but it was definitely Kundan Shah’s magic. It was his stories and the innocence he captured in every character, be it Shah Rukh’s character, Deepak’s or Ashutosh’s character. I found the story very natural and relatable. Every film has its own destiny, and I’m just grateful to be a part of it.“The film featured Suchitra as Anna, a character still fondly remembered by fans. Her association with Shah Rukh Khan became one of the key parts of the film’s emotional story.

Suchitra also recalled Kundan Shah’s blunt comment during the shoot. He said, “I still remember Kundan Shah saying to me, “Suchitra, can you work a little more?
