Sanjana Sanghi She may have shared screen space with some of Bollywood’s biggest stars since childhood, but she says very few celebrities have left her stardom behind. In a recent interview, actor Dil Bechara revealed that while he always admires his co-stars, only one actor has the power to trip him up – Hrithik Roshan.SanjanaHe made his Bollywood debut at the age of 14 with Rockstar Ranbir Kapoorabout her early days in the industry and how she managed to stay composed despite being surrounded by established stars.
“Apart from Hrithik Roshan, nobody trips me up”
Speaking to Bollywood Bubble, Sanjana said that she has never been a star despite working with some of the biggest names in the industry.“Honestly, growing up, like when I was 13 or 16, one thing I’ve never been is a star.”He added, “And it’s not that I don’t look at them in awe or think of them in awe, of course I do. But somehow I don’t shake and mumble and stutter when I see them. I don’t think there’s anyone besides Hrithik Roshan who makes me stumble and almost faint.”

Sanjana, who played Mandy Kaul’s younger sister Nargis FakhriRockstar’s Heer Kaul said his ability to stay calm helped him navigate scary situations at a very young age.“And I think maybe that’s what, at such a young age, allowed me to be able to manage those rooms. Because I was put in rooms that were way beyond my age very early on. And you know, you just guess on intuition,” he said.Recalling his experience on the sets of filmmaker Imtiaz Ali, he added, “Otherwise, as a teenager, when you suddenly find yourself in front of a film camera in an Imtiaz Ali set opposite Ranbir, you can really freeze up, can’t you?”
How katha and debate helped him gain confidence
The actor credited Kathak and public speaking for helping him feel comfortable performing from a young age.“But I think my training, maybe as a Kathak dancer, was always being on stage, always being a debater. So I was always very confident in my performance. I was confident in front of the microphone. Maybe those things helped me. I can’t put my finger on it,” she said.Sanjana also shared the biggest lesson she learned from her early experiences in the industry.“But the one thing I’ve learned from it is that you never know how, when you’re doing something, it’s going to help you later in life. I think that’s the biggest learning.”
What’s next for Sanjana Sanghi?
On the work front, Sanjana has an exciting schedule ahead of her. The actor will be back with the sequel to his bike drama Dhak Dhak and is also gearing up for his much-awaited web series debut. He is also looking at international projects and hopes to take on more comedy roles following his latest work.
