The makers of the romantic thriller ‘Awarapan 2’ announced on Thursday, June 5, 2026 that the film has officially wrapped up its shoot. Emraan Hashmiwho directs the film, has finished filming with his co-star Disha Patani. The film is written by Bilal Siddiqui and directed by the director Nitin Kakkar.

Production banner Vishesh Films graced the celebration by sharing a picture of Emraan on his official handle along with the film’s board. “OG’s know this ain’t a wrap. It came back for you. In theaters August 14th,” they wrote in the caption.

The story takes a dramatic turn when she discovers the dark truth that she has been a victim of sex trafficking, prompting her to risk everything to reunite with the man she loves.
