He describes her eyes, the scene then cuts to show her breasts. He describes her lips, then cuts them to reveal her waist. To the editor, are you really not because you don’t know what eyes and lips are?The anger did not stop there. As one person noted, “The heroine deserved a character. Instead, he put together a series of alien, degrading and objective scenes and called it a role. She’s not brave… she’s not glamorous… she’s just poor and curvy writing.. A complete disgrace to all women in the audience.” Echoing the same sentiment, one user wrote, “It’s time to stop sexualizing heroes in cinema. There is literally a scene where the heroine describes her face, but her waist and chest are shown.
