Actor Nushrratt Bharuccha has broken his silence on the controversy surrounding a viral video that sparked widespread online speculation over an allegedly inappropriate audio clip. Taking to Instagram Stories, the actor clarified that the sound in question was actually that of a puppy and slammed the spread of false narratives.Expressing her frustration over the assumptions made, Nushrratt wrote, “Kuch logon ne hadh hi kar di hai. Ek puppy ke rone ki awaaz se itna bawaal mach gaya hai and someone has even given a false instruction on my behalf. (Some people have really crossed the line. The sound of a puppy crying has created such a controversy.”Setting the record straight, the actor explained the context behind the video and where it was shot. He said: “Here’s the reality… I was watching the game at my friend’s house and their young puppy was crying ‘Sounds’. This is my friend’s simultaneous video from a different angle with the same sounds. He also removed the original video after warning about the potential for misinterpretation of the original video.He wrote: “This is the house where I was watching the game. This is the puppy. This is a video from that night, a little later. Fearing what exactly happened, I was advised to delete that video and I did.”Concluding his clarification, actor Chhorii appealed to social media users not to jump to conclusions based on assumptions and strongly condemned online trolling and misinformation following the video’s circulation.
