Akshay Raheja and IP Singh react to Abhijeet Bhattacharya’s condemnation
According to Hindustan Times, Akshay Raheja and IP Singh shared, “He is a veteran, and we have nothing but respect for him from our end. I am sure he has his point of view, he has his experience, and he has reasons for saying what he is saying. He is a legend for us; we grew up listening to his songs. So hopefully, sooner or later, he’ll give us his blessing because we’re just kids trying to do something here.”Akshay echoed that sentiment, adding context about the evolution of music. He added, “He is a legend. He must have come from a place because he originally recorded this song. His statement comes from his experience. Now, of course, the style of music has changed and evolved. So it’s perfectly fine for him to have that perspective because everyone has their own thoughts. We have received so much love from Anu Malik ji, so it can be done better. We are mostly grateful and focus on the positives.”

Not everyone has accepted the new version. A section of the vocal audience feels that the recreation falls far short of the beloved original. The couple, however, is taking the delay in stride.IP added: “Art is subjective. Some will like it, some won’t. In the end, we know that we have worked from our side with all our hearts. We tried to honor the essence of the song and its nostalgia. Maybe after a week, they start to like it too.’Akshay, on the other hand, represents the confidence of seasoned industry professionals as a marker of quality. He said, “When we work with many top artistes like David ji, Kumar ji, Ramesh ji, there has to be some credit that it’s a good song, that’s why it was selected and released.”
