On Wednesday, the Federation of West Indian Cine Workers (FWICE) announced the withdrawal of the non-cooperation directive against the actor. Ranveer SinghGiven in response to his sudden exit from ‘Don 3’. The directive followed a complaint filed Farhan Akhtarhe alleged that the actor’s exit from the project caused losses of almost 45 million.

CINTAA general secretary and actor Upasana Singh, who was also present at the press conference, threw her weight behind Ranveer. He stated that his recent hits, ‘Dhurandhar’ and ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’, gave the struggling film industry a much-needed shot in the arm when several films flopped. He also revealed that he personally asked FWICE to reconsider its decision and lift the actor’s ban.The actor said, “Ranveer Singh aise actor hai jisne industria ko khada kar diya hai. Kitni filmein flop hui hai aur humari industria kis halaton se guzar rahi hai, aur unki Dhurandhar & Dhurandhar 2 ne jo business kiya hai, unhone history bana diya hai. Aise actors ki bohot zar filmain like hai, ka jinki zar filmain”

Humari industria mein bhi itna paise hota hai rudu, woh humane liye Dhurandhar hai,” said Upasana.
