The two met in the OTT film, ‘Sex Appeal’, after which they dated and even got engaged.Abdalla’s spokesperson released an official statement on the matter, saying: “Due to recent interest in Mika’s personal life, it would be safe to say that she and Jake are no longer together. They continue to help each other and remain on friendly terms, and they kindly ask for privacy and respect.’ No other information about their split has been shared with the public, and neither Short nor Abdalla have commented separately on the split.
