Speaking to People , Cipriano said she read for the role of Grace with three different actresses, and found them all incredible. Fowler’s casting was announced days before the show premiered, but the chemistry was immediately apparent. “India has brought something so … I don’t know, it really came out of the books. It was like I was talking to Grace,” he said.Cipriano also explained why he was glad viewers didn’t see Logan fall in love in Season 1. Sticking with the romance, fans get to know the character more deeply when he meets Grace before seeing him tear down his walls. “The first season works as an introduction to all the characters so fans can root for them all to fall in love at the end,” he notes.In the Elle Kennedy series of books on which the show is based, Logan and Grace’s story appears in the second book, ‘The Mistake’. Since its release on May 13, ‘Off Campus’ has become the third most-watched debut series in the streaming service’s history. According to the streamer, the show reached 36 million viewers in the first 12 days.Jalen Thomas Brooks, Julia Sarah Stone, Chad Willett and Philippa Soo are set to return for Season 2. Showrunner Louisa Levy confirmed that all episodes of season 2 have already been written and will start filming soon. Levy and Gina Fattore serve as co-showrunners on the hockey romance series.
