Actor Rajat Arora recalled an injury on the sets of ‘Dhurandhar’ during the shooting of an action sequence. In an interview, Rajat who plays Mukka Aditya DharThe director shared that when he hit the floor, the co-star Ranveer Singh she ran over and picked him up.

Ranveer shared that he understood the agony firsthand since his spouse was an actor Deepika Padukonesuffered the same. Rajat later recalled that Ranveer had escorted him to the relief centre. He was asked, “During the action sequences, were you injured?”Responding to the question, Rajat told IANS, “Yes, there was an incident when I got injured during the action scene, but I continued to work till the shooting was over. After that, when I fell on the floor, Ranveer Singh ran to me and picked me up and said, “I know it’s quite painful because my wife also went through the same pain and also she didn’t tell anyone when she was shooting.” “He then took me to the aid station. So there are moments that teach you resilience,” he added.

In the chat, Rajat also revealed the key lessons of shooting the blockbuster. He said working closely with veteran actors was one of his most rewarding experiences. “We made sure that our bond was reflected off-screen as well as on-screen. If there’s no real bond between the actors, it becomes visible on camera.”

Rajat added that character development also taught him a lot. “For example, they guided me to think deeply about my character’s background: why he’s in the gang, what his purpose is. Even if certain details are not shown on the screen, they help to shape the performance”, he explained.Another key that Rajat carries from the shoot is to use it creatively. “In one scene, while others were sitting normally, I chose to sit differently and interact with the environment. The cinematographer appreciated this opportunity and framed the shot accordingly. These small details make a big difference,” concludes the actor.
