What is the ‘Midnight Mass’?
Centered on the fictional Crockett Island, the series continues the exciting story of vampires and faith. The miniseries’ official logline reads: “The arrival of a charismatic young priest brings glorious miracles, ominous mysteries and renewed religious fervor to a dying people who want to believe.”The project was originally intended to be released as a novel. However, the script was later turned into a feature film. The final product that was released was an OTT mini-series that has taken fans by storm and has become increasingly popular online. Speaking to Collider, the show’s director explained how this project came about.He stated, “It’s definitely the most personal of the projects for me, as it deals with what I think about faith and religion and what it means to be alive in the world, and what the hell happens when we die, and all those little questions.” Mike is best known for ‘The Haunting of Hill House’ and ‘The Haunting of Bly Manor’.
