The ETimes review praises the details of the action drama
‘Blast’ has several mass elements throughout the narrative. The film features multiple intro sequences, frequent action scenes, three main villains and a family of karate fighters played by Arjun, Abhirami and Preity Mukhundhan.ETimes gave the film 4 out of 5 stars and our review reads, “Beyond the action choreography, the details of the film extend to the production design and character staging as well. The introduction of almost all the characters begins in their home cooking and serving food. While the entry of the main family begins with an egg dosa and a little fight to see who gets the first bite, the kitchen is neatly lined up, another man appears when he starts fighting with his wife about less salt in the food, as the kitchen is quite small and tidy. One of the criminals, on the other hand, is pictured cooking a pasta for himself in a large kitchen with almost nothing except the stove. In a later sequence, the villain talks about how he’s been alone for years and always likes to do things on his own. When we talk about the details, such distinctions make the characters feel alive, even among the masses of Tamil actors.”DISCLAIMER: The box office numbers and data in this article have been collected from public and industry sources.
