Sonakshi Sinha He has leased his posh apartment in Mumbai’s Bandra West to the Consulate General of the State of Kuwait for an annual rent of Rs 1.92 crore, property registration documents obtained by CRE Matrix have revealed.They are said to have rented a flat for the residence of the Consul General of Kuwait, Emad Abdul Aziz Al-Kharaz, along with his family members and staff.Located in the premium residential tower 81 Aureate in Bandra West, the apartment is spread over a carpet area of 4,350 sq ft and also has a 27 sq ft servants’ toilet area, according to registration documents.The lease was registered on May 25, 2026. The documents showed that stamp duty of ₹96,000 and registration fee of ₹1,000 was paid during the transaction.The agreement states that the monthly rent for the flat is Rs 16 lakh. The lease period will begin on June 7, 2026, and will extend until June 6, 2027. The apartment has three parking spaces and access to the luxury amenities offered by the residential complex. These include a gymnasium, clubhouse, library, banquet hall, yoga studio, jogging track, open-air gym, landscaped gardens, children’s play area, conference hall and separate swimming pools for men and women. The documents state that these facilities can be used by the tenant at no additional cost.The Kuwaiti Consulate in Mumbai operates from the Churchgate area of South Mumbai, near KC College. Meanwhile, on the work front, Sonakshi Sinha is being seen in the court drama System, which marks her first on-screen role as a lawyer.The film also stars Jyothika and Ashutosh Gowariker. Sonakshi plays Neha, an ambitious young lawyer who is challenged by her father to prove her mettle before securing a partnership in his law firm. It premiered on May 22 on Prime Video.
