Because my father made the first big color film with Deb Mukherjee in the lead role, and it bombed at the box office on Friday, and on Monday, we became poor,” he said.Farah explained how filmmaking was much more risky at the time, as producers and filmmakers often invested their own money in projects, unlike the studio-backed system seen today.
